Most people does know Yahoo Messenger has a feature which was called “Appear Offline”. What it does is to allow the users Appear’s Offline on their conatcts Yahoo Messenger. Below are some tricks which you could use to vertify if the user are really Online or Appear Offline.

First Method: Doodle Method

1. Double Click on the user whose status you want to check.

2. A message window will open.

3. Click IMVironment button, select See all IMVironments, select Yahoo! Tools or Interactive Fun, and click on Doodle.

4. The last step and the most important step. After loading the Doodle IMVironment, there will be two possibilities.
a) If the user is offline, the Doodle area will show “waiting for your friend to load Doodle” continuously. If the user is online (in invisible mode), after few seconds (it can take up to one minute, depending on connection speed), you will get a blank page.

So the user is online! There is a counter attack of this trick:Go to Messenger>>Preferences>>Messages and now uncheck Enable IMVironments. Now this trick is nullified!

Second Method: Voice Chat

1. Double Click on the user whose status you want to check.

2. Click on “Voice” icon on the toolbar, or select “Contact” menu and select “Enable Voice Chat” .

3. The deciding part… there are 2 possible results:

a) If the user is offline, you will get this message: “Internal server error. Cannot obtain voice token to start voice chat.” If the user is invisible (actually online), you will see the Voice Toolbar.

Third Method: Conference Invitation

1. Right Click on the user whose status you want to check.

2. When the menu appears, select Invite to Conference.

3. A window will appear. See at the right pane, the username you selected will be there. Now, click Invite.

4. The deciding part… there are 2 possible results:

a) If the user is offline, you will get this message: “None of the users in the invite list are available to join the conference.

Please try at a later time.”If the user is invisible, you will get a window similar saying: “You are now logged into voice conference - “

A huge mountain on one end, a thousand meter drop on the other. And it’s at 2900 meters elevation, so you don’t exactly have full power.

Lukla Airport is a small airport in the Town of Lukla in eastern Nepal. In January 2008, the government of Nepal announced that the airport would be renamed in honor of Sir Edmund Hillary[1], the first person to reach the summit of Mount Everest, who passed away on January 11, 2008. The airport is quite popular as Lukla is the place where most people start their trek to climb Mount Everest.

Madeira Airport (Madeira)

Madeira Airport also known as Funchal Airport and Santa Catarina Airport, is an international airport located near Funchal, Madeira. The airport controls national and international air traffic of the island of Madeira.

The airport was once infamous for its short runway which, surrounded by high mountains and the ocean, made it a tricky landing for even the most experienced of pilots. The original runway was only 1,400 metres in length, but was extended by 400 metres after the TAP Air Portugal Flight 425 incident of 1977 and subsequently rebuilt in 2003, almost doubling the size of the runway, building it out over the ocean. Instead of using landfill, the extension was built on a series of 180 columns, each being about 70m tall.

For the enlargement of the new runway the Funchal Airport has won the Outstanding Structures Award, given by International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). The Outstanding Structures Award is considered to be the “Oscar” for engineering structures in Portugal.

Barra International Airport (Barra)

Barra Airport is the only airport in the world where planes land on the beach. BRR is situated in on the wide beach of Traigh Mhor, on Barra island, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. If you want to fly here commercially you will want to book with British Airways, which flies to Barra from Glasgow and Benbecula.

The airport is literally washed away by the tide once a day, and if you arrive on a late afternoon flight, you may notice a couple of cars in the parking lot with their lights on, which provides pilots some added visibility, since the airport is naturally lit. Needless to say you probably don’t want to hang out at Barra Airport beach, unless you are a aviation junkie, in which case Barra Airport has a fool proof system, as sign that reads: “Keep off the beach. When the windsock is flying and the airport is active.”

Gustaf III Airport (St. Bart)
Gustaf III Airport also known as Saint Barthélemy Airport is a public use airport located in the village of St. Jean on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy. Both the airport and the island’s main town of Gustavia are named for King Gustav III of Sweden, under whom Sweden obtained the island from France in 1785 (it was sold back to France in 1878). The airport is served by small regional commercial aircraft and charters. Most visiting aircraft carry fewer than twenty passengers, such as the Twin Otter, a common sight around Saint Barth and throughout the northern West Indies. The short airstrip is at the base of a gentle slope ending directly on the beach. The arrival descent is extremely steep over the hilltop traffic circle and departing planes fly right over the heads of sunbathers (although small signs advise sunbathers not to lie directly at the end of the runway).

Courchevel (France)

Courchevel is the name of a ski area located in the French Alps, the largest linked ski area in the world. It’s airport has a certain degree of infamy in the aviation industry as home to a relatively short runway, with a length of 525 m (1,722 ft) and a gradient of 18.5%. It’s so short that you have to land on an inclined strip to slow down and take off on a decline to pick up enough speed.

Who gets to land here? Well, Pierce Brosnan made the short list. This was the airport used in the opening seen of Tomorrow Never Dies. For the rest of us, private plane, helicopter, or charter are the only ways to go, and your pilot is going to need some serious training before he or she is allowed to land at CVF.

Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport (Saba)

Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport is the only airport on the Caribbean island of Saba, in the Netherlands Antilles. It is well known among experienced fliers for the way in which airplanes must approach or take off from the airport.

Yrausquin Airport covers a relatively large portion of the small island of Saba. Some aviation experts are of the general opinion that the airport is one of the most dangerous in the world, despite the fact that no major tragedies have happened at the facility. The airport’s sole runway is marked with an X at each end, to indicate to commercial pilots that the airport is closed for commercial aviation.

The danger arises from the airport’s physical position. It is flanked on one side by high hills, and on the other side and at both ends of the runway by cliffs dropping into the sea. This creates the possibility that an airplane might overshoot the runway during landing or takeoff and end up in the sea or on the cliffs.

Princess Juliana International Airport (Saint Martin)

Princess Juliana International Airport serves Saint Maarten, the Dutch part of the island of Saint Martin. It is the second busiest airport in the Eastern Caribbean. The airport is famous for its short landing strip — only 2,180 metres/7,152 ft, which is barely enough for heavy jets. Because of this, the planes approach the island flying extremely low, right over Maho Beach. Countless photos of large jets flying at 10–20 m/30-60 ft over relaxing tourists at the beach have been dismissed as fakes many times, but are nevertheless real. For this reason as well it has become a favourite for planespotters. Despite the difficulties in approach, there has been no records of major aviation incidents at the airport.

Wanna get a free License key for yourself ? Although not the latest version but its sufficient enough to do all your packing/unpacking. Continue reading for the instructions.

PC Welt, a German computer magazine has just released their latest issue in Germany, in which, they are running a promotion to provide their readers with a free license key of WinRAR 3.62 (English and German editions only).

WinRAR 3.62 is not the latest version. The latest version, as far as I can remember is version 3.71, but you should be happy that they are generous enough to provide use with a free license key. At least it would be sufficient for our unpacking needs.

To get the free license key, visit the promotional website of Winrar, and fill out the form given there. The key will be sent to your email! As this is a German promotion, the website is also in German. Use the following translations of the form fields to fill it:

Vorname (First Name)

Nachname (Last Name)

E-Mail-Adresse (E-Mail)

E-Mail bestätigen (E-Mail again)

Land (Country)

Select Anderes Land in the pulldown menu if you are not living in one of the mentioned countries. After you complete the form, click on the Abschicken (Send/Sumbit) button, and then check your mail. The mail will contain two links. The second one will lead you to the key, because the first one is the link to their special offer to purchase the latest version of WinRAR at a discounted price.

Then click Download des Lizenzschlüssels to download the key to your computer. Then unpack the contents of the key you downloaded in the WinRAR directory.

1: Automatically complete .org and .net addresses

Yes, we know that if we type ‘google’ in the address bar and press Ctrl+Enter it directly goes to www.google.com . But what about .org and .net addresses? . In Firefox, Shift+Enter takes you to .net and Ctrl+Shift+Enter takes you to .org addresses automatically . So if you wanna go to gmail , just type the word in firefox address bar and press Shift+Enter .

2: Alt + D

You can use this to navigate directly to the browser address bar of firefox. Very useful.

3: Ctrl+T and Ctrl+Shift+T

Ctrl+T helps you to open a new tab and Ctrl+Shift+T reopens the last closed tab.
This comes quite handy in case you accidently close a tab. Another way to do this would be go to History -> Recently closed tabs.

4: Alt+Enter

This can be an extremely useful shortcut. It automatically opens a website in another tab when you highlight it in the autocomplete list. For example you want to go to Friendster and you start typing www.friend…, in the address bar and it starts showing the list below. You just need to use the down arrow key to highlight the selection (friendster.com in this case ) and press Alt+Enter so that it opens in a new tab.

5: Use of Delete Key

The Delete key can be pretty useful because it helps you delete specific addresses in browser history or autocomplete forms. For example in the diagram below, when I type ‘a’ in google search I get 3 entries . If I want to delete the 2nd entry from autocomplete history , I’ll just point to it and press Delete key . Simple, isn’t it .

6: Ctrl+Tab

Ctrl+tab helps you to navigate between different firefox tabs quite easily.

7: Ctrl+[1,2….9]

Ctrl+tab can help you navigate alternate tabs but if you are a heavy tab user like me and want to go to a specific tab then just use Ctrl+corresponding tab number. Ex:To go to the 3rd tab use Ctrl+3 .

8: Spacebar and Shift+Spacebar OR PageDown and PageUp

Spacebar or PageDown key scrolls down the webpage you’re on and Shift+Spacebar or PageUp scrolls up the webpage you’re on .

9: The Middle Mouse Button

This is not a keyboard shortcut but it is an excellent shortcut . Just point to a link anywhere on a webpage and press the middle mouse(scroll) button . It opens the page in a new tab .

I guess this is not the full list, Why not you help me update by listing on my comments ?

In thisarticle we will hide a text message inside a picture. We have choose for this tutorial a text file named topsecret.txt and a picture photo.jpg.

1. Move your files you want to combine in a new folder, in our case C:\topsecret.

2. Add the file you want to hide into a new RAR archive (in our example named topsecret.rar).

3. WinRar created the archive in the folder where our files are located.

4. Open Command Prompt (Start -> Run…, type cmd and press Enter).

5. Go to the folder where your files are located, in this case C:\topsecret by using the cd command.

6. Now type copy /b photo1.jpg + topsecret.rar hotchick.jpg where photo1.jpg is the original picture, topsecret.rar is the file that will be hidden, and hotchick.jpg is the file which contains both.

7. If you open hotchick.jpg you will see the photo1.jpg image.

8. Try opening the file with WinRar (select All files).

9. Now you can see the text file that is hidden in the picture.

A simple solution to make this more secure, is to use encryption on the RAR file or set a password when your create it.
